Gay Pride or simple Talk?

Whether to allow gay bishops is now a hot issue in the Church of England. UK equality under the law of the Church cannot allow sexual orientation in itself as the basis for preventing a priest he is promoted to the role of a bishop. However, consistent with the provisions contained in the Act on the religious organisation to act in accordance with its doctrine, the document, "Selecting bishops-The 2010 Act equality" makes it Clear who the promotion must be celibate and was celibate in their time as priest.

Many people feeling Found by this reluctance to homosexuality by strands organized religion. And certain feeling angry and to promote the idea that gay people should be proud of their sexual orientation, that is the feeling of their natural inclination.

The same idea with a natural course, you can say those attracted to females, who feel that they have not informed choice in the matter. However, although many studies examined the possibilities of genetic, hormonal, developmental, social and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no firm arrangements have appeared that allow researchers to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any specific factor or factors. Many believe that nature and nurture play complex roles.

From the perspective of the spiritual please could be whether or not gay partnerships have the same luck as the human potential that moving one. So what Swedenborg has to say about it?

Conjugial Principle

Swedenborg he coined a new Word 'conjugial ', adding ' I ' to the old legal term 'conjugal '. Exiled to distinguish the quality of love that volunteers pair as one in heart, mind and life. Understanding of what is true in one person, that one of the affection of what is good in the other, is known as a Union of minds of two to one.

Deep Union between two persons are said to be characterized by the spiritual State of peace, tranquility, the intimate friendship, full of trust, joy and sexual pleasure. According to Swedenborg this State "conjugial Love," featuring Divine spiritual source, ie the Union what it is and what is true. Without that harmony would be internal tension--thinking one thing, but wishing another. Hence, to the extent that the partnership is, there is one, conjugial deep joy, because the divine harmony is present in the relationship.

Considering that each of us does not have some of what is good and true in the US, you may be asked whether the principle conjugial has the potential to apply equally to the relationships between two persons of the same sex in the same way as between two females. In other words, it may not be conjugial love gay marriage between male and female Natures in each person, we assume that all we are men and women in the US?

Gender differences

There, the idea is both male and female in each person came from Carl Jung. On the contrary, although Swedenborg says both sexes thinking heads and feeling of the heart and should be equally valued, it nevertheless considers that there are the same. In his book Conjugial Love (section 32) says, there is a substantial difference between males and females, and that after the death of that man lives as males and females as males. He is to describe the basic Psycho spiritual difference between male and female brains.

According to Swedenborg both sexes are able science and creationism, and empathy. At the same time his contention is that men are more naturally at the direction of using their heads and adopt an objective attitude. On the other hand, women are referred to as more likely to observe what is happening with their intuition and take a subjective perspective. If the man is right to think about already what is appropriate for the in the light of the findings, the woman is a Tur warm feeling for what is good in the heat of love.

Move love

This difference is his supposed gender relevance of Swedenborg moving love. Just as opposites attract, the love between man and woman can be more deeply, because it can be between understanding and its related disorders. And so each complements the other. This offers the potential to enter deeply and combine them. Also (in his book Conjugial Love section 181) conjugial love believes that only can happen in the relationship between a man and a woman.

When Swedenborg about the difference between the right of men and women, then love between two persons of the same sex may not be the same as the love between two females.

Homosexual love

We have to wonder if these ideas from the 18th century is something teach us at times. Wedding statistics show that there are many people in the less than satisfactory handling relationships. Some links gay men take longer than moving. And given the sexual prejudices still around, one might argue that it will take as a gay couple requires a better internal resistance of the partnership.

Swedenborg does not address the issue of homosexuality-there was no word of her in his era. However, one thing he (in his book Conjugial Love section 55) is that the love of man to man or that woman to women may not be a deep one. He may be wrong, but says that the love of man for man and woman to woman make relatively superficial contact, without leading to any deep inside the Union of two.

In other words, according to this view of love between two men is more about the association between one way of thinking and in a different way of thinking-between one understanding and others to understand. The love between two men is more about the Association of one State and another State of feeling emotion.

In aspiring to achieve A condition they call Swedenborg conjugial love, rzec, the chances that people stand in a continuum, rather than a homosexual partnership.
